Registration of a company

Online Incorporation Steps


Step 1: All shareholders, directors and partners must signup with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (“SECP”) online service (https://eservices.secp.gov.pk/eServices/). The following

information/documents are required for signing-up with the SECP:

·      The applicant must have an email address and cell number (registered in applicant’s name).

·      The following information is required for signing-up:

-       CNIC number, CNIC expiry and issuance date.

-       Applicant’s name.

-       Father’s name.

-       Date of birth.

-       Address.

-       Cell number.

-       Email address.

·      Before submitting the application, please make sure that email address and cell number are accessible as verification

codes are sent to the email address and cell number.

·      The following information is required to be filled in on SECP’s website

Step 2: Sign-in https://eservices.secp.gov.pk/eServices/ using account of one of the promoters.

·      Three (3) name of company.

·      Significance of the proposed names of the company.

·      Principal line of business.

·       If an entity by this name exists already, then provide its details (in brief).

·       Address of the company.

·      Choose authorize capital of the company.

·      Provide details of promoters: (i) name, (ii) proposed designation, (iii) nature of directorship, (iv) nationality,

(v) CNIC number, (vi) address, (vii) occupation, (viii) NTN tax number, (ix) number of shares

Step 3: Generate the challan. Pay the incorporation fees (through online or offline means).
